The wiring for the electric fan is secured to the air guide of the viscous fan using clips. Remove these clips.

To remove the clips, turn electric fan slightly in direction of arrow.

Move electric fan aside to right.

Note:  Before removing ribbed belt, note direction of rotation with chalk or felt-tip marker. Reversing the direction of rotation of a run-in belt can
destroy the belt. When installing the ribbed belt, make sure it is seated correctly on the pulleys.

Turn tensioner toward right using a long torque wrench and 17 mm socket insert.

^

When both bores align (arrows), secure using 3204 drift.

^

Remove ribbed belt from belt pulley.

^

Unbolt belt pulley for power steering pump, counterhold with 3212 spanner wrench.
