Door Lock Heater: Service and Repair
Door Lock Cylinder Heater Control Module, Removing and Installing
WARNING!
Disconnect battery Ground (GND) strap before working on the electrical system.
NOTE:
-
Obtain radio code before disconnecting battery.

Be sure to activate vehicle features (radio, clock, electric window regulators) according to owner's manual when the battery is reconnected.
Important notes:
-
To avoid contact corrosion, use only approved screws, nuts, washers, etc.
-
These elements have a special surface coating, and can be recognized by their green color.
-
These screws must also be stored separately.
The control module for the door lock heater is located at the upper cross-member of the driver's door.
Removing
-
Remove door trim.
-
Remove screws -2- and nuts -3-.
-
Unplug electrical harness connector and remove the control module -1-.
Installing
-
Install in reverse order of removal.
