Sunroof Panel Seal, Removing And Installing

Sunroof removed

Vehicles With Aluminum Sunroof Panel

-

Pull out seal - 1 - and remove adhesive residue.

-

Coat metal flange - 2 - on inside only using adhesive D 002 100.

NOTE:  The panel seal must not be cut. Compensate for slight material excess by compressing the seal equally on both sides.

Vehicles with solar (e.g. glass) sunroof panel

-

Remove panel seal - 2 - from sunroof panel - 3 -.

-

Push new panel seal into sunroof panel - 3 - starting at rear of panel edge in center.

NOTE:  Coat edge of panel with soapy water to facilitate installation of seal.
