Valve Body: Service and Repair
Oil Pan, ATF Sump and Valve Body, Removing and Installing

Removing

Remove oil pan .
^
Remove ATF sump .
^
Remove circlip for wiring harness connector (arrow).
^
Remove wiring harness connector by pressing toward inside.
Notes:

Only the indicated screws may be loosened.
^
If other screws are loosened, the function of the valve body can be impaired or the valve body sections can be separated.
^
The screws are of different lengths. Note their locations carefully.
^
Remove screws (arrows).
^
Carefully remove valve body from transmission.
