Indicated on display of VAS 5051:

Request in display zone -1- "Enter adaption value. Value: 065535".

Display zone -2- shows a keyboard.

Enter the measured pad thickness in display zone -2- via the keyboard and confirm entry with "key Q":

Indicated on display of VAS 5051:

Zone -3- displays the newly entered pad thickness value indicated by the sliding bar.

Store the new pad thickness by pressing key -5-.

Indicated on display of VAS 5051:
^

Request in display zone -1- to "Store channel 6".

^

Zone -2- displays the specified pad thickness limits.

^

Zone -3- displays the former and the newly entered pad thickness value.

Confirm and store the new pad thickness by pressing key 4-.

^

Display zone -1- indicates "Store channel 6 Value 0...23 stored".

-

Terminate self-diagnosis and switch ignition off.

Mount wheels

-

Check brake fluid level and top off if necessary.
