Install the (T10149) using a wheel bolt.

-

Install the (T10149) onto the (VAG 1383A) and press the wheel bearing housing far enough upward until the control position, dimension - a -, is
obtained.

Control Position

‹› Dimension - a - for vehicles with standard suspension: 398 mm

‹› Dimension - a - for vehicles with sport suspension: 378 mm

CAUTION!
‹› Do not lift or lower the vehicle if the (VAG 1383A) is below it.

‹› Do not leave the (VAG 1383A) under the vehicle longer than is necessary.

Working after Adjusting Control Position

-

Tighten the respective bolts/nuts.

-

Lower the wheel bearing housing.

-

Remove the (VAG 1383A) from under the vehicle.

-

Remove the (T10149).

-

Install the air spring damper onto the track control arm.

-

Tighten the connecting piece - 1 - to the residual pressure retaining valve - 2 -. Refer to - item 37 - in => [ Air Spring Damper, Wheel Bearing
