Intake Manifold Lower Section

Intake Manifold Lower Section

‹› All cable ties which are opened or cut open when removing, must be replaced in the same position when installing.

Remove upper part of intake manifold => [ Intake Manifold Upper Section ] See: Intake Manifold Upper Section/Multiport Fuel Injection.

Separate electrical connections at fuel injectors, thereby pressing release tabs down and then inward - arrow -.

-

Remove bolts for fuel rail - 1 -.

-

Remove intake manifold lower part - 2 -.

-

Pull intake manifold lower part with fuel rail upward and off, with fuel hoses remaining connected.

‹› Plug the intake ports of the cylinder head with clean rags.
