Installing

Installation is carried out in the reverse order, when doing this note the following:

-

Replace seal - A - between plenum chamber and A/C unit.

NOTE:
-

Check other seals, replace if necessary Parts Catalog

-

Connect coolant hoses to heater core accurate to side.

Secure all hose connections with standard hose clamps or clips as used in series production, or approved replacement parts Parts Catalog

When inserting A/C unit, make sure that wiring to actuators (in plenum chamber) and seal - A - is not jammed or damaged by studs.

-

Check damper element - C - for proper seating.

-

After installation, check grommet between engine compartment and plenum chamber for proper seating.

Seal 4 bolts - A - (left and right) in plenum chamber (e.g. using Terolan D 511 500 A2). Parts Catalog

-

Check the evaporator drain hoses for proper seating.
