Retaining Plate with Right Footwell Door and Right Center Vent

‹› The mounting plate with the right footwell door motor (V109) and the right center vent motor (V111 ) is installed only on vehicles equipped with

the "Comfort " Air Conditioning (A/C) system.

‹› Right footwell door motor (V109) and right center vent motor (V111), disassembling and assembling. Refer to => [ Retaining Plate with Right

‹› On this vehicle, all control motors are currently identical. During the basic adjustment, the control motors are assigned and adapted corresponding

to the switching sequence of the wiring. If this sequence does not conform the specification, the control motors will adapt incorrectly and the door
control will be wrong. Refer to => [ A/C Control Motor Block Diagram ] See: Description and Operation/A/C Control Motor Block Diagram. 

Removing

-

Move the passenger seats as far back as possible.

-

Switch off ignition.

-

Remove glove compartment.

-

Remove screws - A -.

-

Loosen the right instrument panel air duct from the instrument panel cross member (do not remove it).. 

‹› The air duct - B - for the right instrument panel vent is attached by two screws; remove just the one screw under the instrument panel cross

member which is accessible.

-

Remove the air channel - B - leading to the right dash panel vent (passenger side).

-

Air intake housing, removing. Refer to => [ A/C Unit Air Intake Housing ] See: Air Duct/Service and Repair/A/C Unit Air Intake Housing.

Mark the connector - A - (to the right center vent motor (V111)) and - B - ( right footwell door motor (V109)) (to prevent confusion).
