‹› Plug Set, Engine (VAS 6122)

Removing

‹› Rules for cleanliness when working on the DSG transmission. Refer to => [ Clean Working Conditions ] See: Transmission and

‹› Before installing a replacement transmission, always replace the ATF filter and ATF lines and the ATF cooler using compressed air (maximum 10

bar). 

4-cylinder vehicles Engine:

-

Place the Oil Collecting and Extracting Device ( V.A.G 1782) at the separating joints.

-

Remove the bolt - arrow -, pull the ATF pipes -  1 - and - 2 - off the transmission and move them to the side.

-

Seal any open lines and connections with a clean plug from the Engine Plug Set (VAS 6122).

6-cylinder vehicles Engine:

‹› To collect escaping ATF, lay a clean cloth under the separating point.

Remove the bolts - arrows - and disconnect the ATF pipe - 1 - from the transmission.
