CAUTION!
‹› After removing the control module, make sure no dirt or foreign objects enter the steering column.

Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal. Observe the following when doing so:

Torque specification. Refer to => [ Steering Column Assembly Overview ] See: Steering and Suspension/Steering/Steering Column/Service and
Repair/Removal and Replacement/Steering Column Assembly Overview

‹› If only the Electronic Steering Column Lock Control Module (J764) was replaced, used the previously used control module bolt.

‹› If the steering column was replaced, then remove the protective cover and use the bolts in the new steering column for the Electronic Steering

Column Lock Control Module (J764).

When installing the Electronic Steering Column Lock Control Module, insert the pins - arrow A - in the groove -  arrow B - on the steering
column.
