Wiring Harness

Removing

CAUTION!
There is a risk of destroying the transmission control module (mechatronic) with static discharge.

‹› Always discharge static by touching a grounded object, e.g. vehicle ground, before touching or removing the mechatronic unit.

‹› Never touch contacts in 16 pin connector, as the static charge could destroy the control module and thus the mechatronic unit.

Remove mechatronic unit. Refer to => [ Mechatronic ] See: Mechatronic.

To discharge static electricity, touch the transmission housing (without wearing gloves).

Disconnect electrical connector on transmission by rotating connections counterclockwise - arrow -.

Remove the wiring harness securing clip - A -.

‹› Ignore - arrows -.

-

Press the wiring harness connector - B - into the transmission and remove the wiring harness.
