Removing

With lane assist:

Unclip the top cover - 1 - on the mirror base -  arrows -.

-

Disengage the bottom cover on the mirror base using a screwdriver and remove it.

Without lane assist:

-

Pry the cover - 1 - off the mirror base -  arrows -.
