Rear View Camera System Control Module

Rear View Camera System Control Module

The Rear View Camera System Control Module (J772) is located behind right luggage compartment side trim.

-

If control module is replaced, select the function "Replace " of respective control module in "Guided Fault Finding". 

Use Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System (VAS 5051A) to do so.

-

Switch off all electrical consumers.

-

Remove ignition key.

Removing

-

Remove right luggage compartment side trim.

-

Remove nuts - 1 - and - 5 - (4 Nm). 

-

Disconnect harness connectors - 3 - and -  4 -.

-

Remove Rear View Camera System Control Module (J772) - 2 -.

Retaining Bracket, Removing 

Two retaining brackets are bolted to the Rear View Camera System Control Module (J772).

-

Unscrew bolts - 5 - (2 Nm) and remove retaining bracket -  1 -.
