Fresh Air Blower V2, Removing and Installing

Fresh Air Blower V2, Removing And Installing 

CAUTION:  Do not grasp fan wheel of Fresh Air Blower V2, force against the fan wheel or shifting the balancing weights fastened to fan wheel
may cause imbalance and then problems during operation. 

Removing 

-

Switch ignition off

-

Remove lower right instrument panel trim.

-

Remove glove compartment.

-

Disconnect connector - B - from Fresh Air Blower V2 - C -.

-

Remove bolts - A -.

-

Take out Fresh Air Blower V2 - C - downward.

Installing 

-

Insert Fresh Air Blower V2 - C - carefully into heating A/C unit from below.

-

Install the remaining removed components again in reverse order.

-

Check DTC memory of front A/C control head Climatronic Control Module J255 and erase DTCs displayed if necessary. Vehicle Diagnosis,
Testing and Information System VAS 5051 in "Guided Fault Finding" function.

-

Perform basic setting (and output Diagnostic Test Mode (DTM) if necessary) on the A/C system. Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information
System VAS 5051 in "Guided Fault Finding" function.
