Belt Pulley - Version "2", Replacing 

NOTE: 

-

Currently, compressor with belt pulley version "2" is installed in vehicles with 6 cyl. gasoline engine Parts Catalog.

-

Pulley, removing from compressor and re-installing

-

Belt pulley version "2" is installed e.g. on compressor of "7 SEU 16" type.

1. Bolt

-

Replacing

-

Tightening torque 20 Nm 

-

Loosening and tightening

2. Drive plate

-

Triggers with torque too high (e.g. compressor produces friction)

3. Circlip

-

Replacing

-

Install on proper side (level side to compressor)

4. Belt pulley

-

Rubber element of pulley triggers when torque is too-high (e.g. compressor produces friction) and pulley runs freely without driving the
compressor.

NOTE:  Under certain conditions (e.g. rough engine idle), rubber element of pulley can disengage without a malfunction existing at
compressor or in refrigerant circuit.

5. Compressor

Different versions are installed, depending on engine version and country version of vehicle. Parts Catalog

Clean compressor flange before sliding on pulley.
