Fresh Air Intake Housing A/C System, Removing And Installing 

Removing 

-

Remove plenum chamber cover.

-

Remove Engine Control Module (ECM).

-

Remove bracket for Engine Control Module (ECM) in order to access nuts - 1 -

-

Unscrew nuts - 1 - and remove cover grille - A - from intake housing.

-

Reach into intake housing from above and loosen retaining clamps - 1 -.

-

Remove intake housing from plenum chamber.

Installing 

Installation is the reverse of removal, noting the following:

-

Check foam seal on intake housing (for seal with plenum chamber rear wall), replace a damaged foam seal if necessary.

-

Before installing, check water drain valve - arrow - for soiling, clean if necessary.
