Coolant Line/Hose: Service and Repair

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Hose clamp pliers (V.A.G 1921)

Removing

‹› During installation, all cable ties must be reinstalled at the same location.

-

Drain coolant => [ Cooling System, Draining and Filling ] See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Cooling System/Service and Repair.

-

Disconnect coolant hose from - 1 - from connecting pieces.

‹› Ignore - arrows -.

-

Remove coolant hose - 2 - from connecting pieces and free up coolant hoses to intake manifold.

-

Move coolant houses forward.

‹› Ignore items - 1, 3 and arrows -.

-

Free up electrical connector - 1 - for Engine Speed (RPM) sensor (G28) on oil dipstick guide tube.
