Carefully release retaining hooks - arrows - and remove spiral spring/return spring with slip ring - 1 - from Steering Column Switch Module
(SCSM).

NOTE:  Steering column switch module has been removed in illustration.

Installing 

Install in reverse order, observing the following:

Make sure all fasteners and electrical connectors are properly engaged.

Insert upper steering column switch trim in lower trim hooks, press both sections together and fasten with screws.

-

Install steering wheel.

-

Install airbag unit.

Tightening torques 

Steering Column Switch Module (SCSM): 3 Nm 
Trim for steering column switch: 0.6 Nm 
Lower trim to steering column: 3 Nm 
Handle trim on mechanical steering column adjustment handle: 4.5 Nm
