Remove the bolts - 1, 4, 5 and 8 -.

-

Disengage the driver side knee airbag from the hook - 2 - and the tab - 7 - and remove it downward.

Lay the driver knee airbag so the padding faces up.

Installing

CAUTION!
‹› Follow the safety precautions for pyrotechnic components.

‹› Before handling pyrotechnic components (e.g. connecting the electrical connector), the person handling it must "discharge static

electricity ". This can be done by touching door striker, for example.

Installation is reverse of removal, but note the following:

‹› Ensure that electrical connections are pushed in as far as stop and engage with a click.

‹› Ensure wires are not pinched.
