‹› Oil Collecting and Extracting Device (VAG 1782)
Removing
CAUTION!
Risk of transmission damage.
‹› Do not run engine or tow vehicle with oil pan removed or without transmission fluid.

Risk of destroying electronic components when disconnecting the battery.
‹› Observe measures for disconnecting battery.

With ignition switched off, disconnect battery ground cable.

Drain transmission fluid. Refer to => [ Gear Oil, Draining, or Filling after Repairs ] See: Fluid - A/T/Service and Repair/Gear Oil, Draining, or
Filling after Repairs.

Remove nut - 1 - from oil pan and press bracket - A - upward.

If the vehicle has a shield on the transmission, remove shield - A - - arrows -.
