Adjusting rear lid
Read contents of Body, General.
Refer to the description texts of the KSD CD (FRU 41 62 014)
for details of stripping-down and rigging work.
The gap dimensions serve as the basis for adjustment work.
Make unpainted surfaces visible by also moving the hinges. Touch
these up in the appropriate colour.
Release nut (1) and remove grounding strap.
Tightening torque 41 62 5AZ
.
Release screws (2) on rear lid hinge to rear lid so that rear lid can
still be moved.
Tightening torque 41 62 1AZ
.
If adjustment range is not enough, also slacken nuts (1).
Note:
There is sealing compound between rear lid hinge and body.
Adjust rear lid.
Retighten all screws.
Tightening torque 41 62 3AZ
.
Adjust rear lid lock.
