Removing and installing/replacing left or right
hinge for rear lid
Read contents of Body, General.
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove rear lid
Refer to the description texts of the KSD CD (FRU 41 62 520)
for details of stripping-down and rigging work.
Release nuts (1) on vehicle.
Tightening torque, 41 62 3AZ
.
Remove hinge (2).
Installation:
Before final assembly, apply sealing compound in areas (1).
Adjust rear lid on the basis of the E87 body gap dimensions.
