Adjusting timing of camshaft (M41)
(re Oper. No. 11 31 005)
Note:
Before performing the adjustment work, the camshaft timing
must be checked,
refer to 11 31 005
Removing vacuum pump,
refer to 11 66 000
Loosen sprocket screw.
Note:
Fit screw with no clearance to ensure that sprocket can still
rotate on camshaft.
Aligning camshaft.
Note:
Special tool 11 3 320 must be fitted flush to the cylinder
head.
