3 Series E36 318tds (M41) SAL
Evenly unfasten bearing cover on camshaft in 1/2 turn steps from
outside to inside.
Remove bearing cover and lift out camshaft.
Installation note:
Install camshaft.
The bearing covers are legibly marked with numbers from 1 ...
5 viewed from the exhaust end.
Fit bearing cover.
Installation note:
Fit all nuts and tighten down to zero clearance.
Evenly unfasten bearing cover on camshaft in 1/2 turn steps
from outside to inside.
Tightening torque,
refer to Technical Data 11 31 1AZ
