Removing and installing/replacing hinge for
rear lid, left or right (rear lid removed)

Note:
The hinge of the rear lid is only primed as a spare part.
If the hinge is replaced, the hinge must be painted in the
appropriate car color before it is installed.
To facilitate installation of trunk lid, mark position of hinge on trunk
lid.
The nuts for securing the rear-lid hinge are located in a cavity
directly below the rear window.
During removal and installation, use a suitable tool to protect the
heater strips of the rear window against damage.
Unscrew nuts.
Remove rear-lid hinge.
