Unscrew wires on starter.
Installation:
For tightening torque, refer to Technical Data 12 41 4AZ
Unscrew bolts.
Unfasten support if necessary.
Installation:
For tightening torque, refer to Technical Data 12 41 1AZ
Unscrew starter below oil filter.
Installation:
Check starter pinion for signs of damage.
Check the starter crown wheel for damage.
Notes on troubleshooting and dismantling the starter motor,
refer to 12 41 513
