Fitting new wiper rubber

Insert the undamaged spring rails into groove 1 (see Fig. 3) on the new wiper rubber.
Ensure that the spring rails are properly pre-
tensioned and that the recesses are properly positioned to axially fix the wiper rubber
in place.

Feed the wiper rubber open end first into the inside of the wiper blade. Take care to
ensure that all claws grasp into the spring rails in the groove (see item 2 in Fig. 3).
Slide the wiper blade in until the innermost claw engages in the pocket in the wiper
rubber 
(see item 3 in Fig. 3). 
To make it easier to fit the wiper rubber, hold the wiper blade vertically to allow the
wiper rubber with the spring rails fitted to be fed in upwards from below.
