Layout of drive belt.
Make sure that the drive belt is correctly seated in the pulley
grooves of the belt pulley.
Version with mechanical belt tensioner:
Remove the dust cab.
Push the drive belt tension jack back onto the bolt connection of
the pulley.
Caution!
The bolt connection of the pulley for the drive belt tension jack
has left-hand thread and is peened.
Only change the pulley in conjunction with the drive belt
tension jack.
Remove drive belt.
Installation:
If necessary, apply preload to the drive belt tension jack as far
as it will go and lock using special tool 11 3 340. This will
make it easier to put on the drive belt.
Caution!
The drive belt tension jack is under high spring pressure.
Press special tool 11 3 340 in as far as possible.
