Removing and installing intake filter housing
(M43TU)
Turn off ignition.
Remove tank venting valve from retainer on intake filter
housing,
refer to 13 90 500
Release clamps (1).
Release screw (2).
Unclip intake neck (3).
Remove complete intake filter housing.
Installation:
Check gasket (1) between air-mass flow sensor and air
cleaner upper section for damage, replace if damaged.
To facilitate joint between air cleaner and throttle assembly,
coat gasket with acid-free grease.
Installation:
Insert guide pin (1) on intake filter housing into hole (2) in
rubber mount.
