Replacing tank venting valve (M43TU)
Turn off ignition.
Disconnect plug connection (1).
Detach vent hose (2); to do so, press locking bracket and remove
vent hose.
Turn tank venting valve counterclockwise through 90
°
so that
connection piece (2) can be removed from retainer on intake filter
housing.
Remove tank venting valve with rubber mount (1) from retainer
towards top.
Detach hose (1) from tank venting valve (2).
Remove tank venting valve.
Installation:
Read out fault memory of DME control module, check stored
fault messages, rectify faults, cancel fault memory.
