Vehicle order and vehicle identification number are stored in the instrument cluster.

To make and entry or to edit the vehicle order:
 
Use the FA editor (found via path "1 Initial encoding", "10 Instrument cluster", "2 Recode
control unit") to re-enter or edit a vehicle order stored in the vehicle.

If the FA display shows the question "Change?" and this is answered with "Yes", the model
key, time criterion, paint code and upholstery code can be changed. Following this, an
optional extra can be added to the existing vehicle order with "3 Add feature", or an optional
extra (SA) can be deleted from the existing vehicle order with "4 Delete feature".

After selecting "Add/delete feature", a 3-digit option number can be entered using "4 SA" to
be added to or deleted from the vehicle order. Further features can be added to or deleted
from the vehicle order with menu items "1 Assembly no.", "2 E-Wort" and "3 HO-Wort".

The vehicle order can be displayed using menu item "1 Display vehicle order". Input is
ended with "2 End and check input". The validity of the vehicle order is then automatically
checked.

Following this, the complete vehicle order is displayed again. After the question "Display
correct?" has been answered with "Yes", the edited vehicle order is stored in the instrument
cluster (KOMBI) and lights switching centre (LSZ).

Important:
In case of retrofits/conversions, the vehicle order may only be changed in the field "SA".
