Straightening angle sets and portal attachments
E53, E46 touring
Situation:
A new straightening angle set is required for professional body repairs.
Here, a difference should be made between the straightening rig manufacturers CELETTE,
CAR BENCH and CAR-O-LINER.
Straightening angle sets and vehicle data sheets can be called off from the launch of the
E53.
Additional portal attachment and data sheets for the tailgate hinges and rear seat backrest
catch are recommended for professional body repairs on the E46/3 touring. The
straightening angle sets and data sheets are identical to those for the E46/4.
CELETTE
The E53 basic straightening angle set corresponds to the scope of the previous model
series and thus covers the usual repair scopes.
In addition, portal attachments for the E53 tailgate and door hinges are recommended.
In addition, portal attachments for the E46/3 tailgate hinges and rear seat backrest catch
are recommended.
These are to be used in conjunction with the portal gauge
(order number 81 41 9 428 451 / 626).
CAR BENCH
The E53 basic straightening angle set corresponds to the scope of the previous model
series and thus covers the usual repair scopes.
In addition, portal attachments for the E53 tailgate and door hinges are recommended.
In addition, portal attachments for the E46/3 tailgate and rear seat backrest catch are
recommended.
These are to be used in conjunction with the portal gauge.
The universal straightening angle set is recommended as a further alternative for body
repairs with the Car Bench straightening angle system. To perform repair work, the setup
plan relevant to the vehicle is the only additional item required.
CAR-O-LINER
Data sheet 2:040 should be selected for repairs to the E53 underbody.
Data sheet 602:021 should be selected for repairs to the E53 upper body.
Data sheet 602:025 should be selected for repairs to the E46/3
upper body.
Procedure:
The straightening angle sets will be stocked as store tools and will only be delivered to
order.
