Adjusting rear left or right side windows

Special tools required:

•

41 6 120

Requirement:

Convertible soft top must be correctly adjusted.

If necessary, adjust front door window glass in accordance with
side window adjustment.

Remove upper section of side trim at rear.

Close convertible top and side windows.

Ideal adjustment in X- and Z-directions:

A

Distance of seal (1) at rear to front door window edge at rear

(X-direction).

B

Submersion depth at top in convertible top (Z-direction).

Distances:

A

23 ... 25 mm

B

5 ... 7 mm

Ideal adjustment of window (3) in Y-direction:

C

Distance to front door window (1).

D

Center setting, rear.

E

Pretension, top.

Distances:

C

Up to 1 mm towards inside

D

With convertible top open, side window must rest outwards

and inwards with same force.

E

Seal (2) must be firmly in position.
