3 Series E46 330xd (M57) TOUR
Release screws (1).
Tightening torque,
refer to Technical Data 13 32 3AZ.
Remove air duct (2).
Release clamps (3).
Detach fuel lines from fuel filter unit and fuel cooler.
Disconnect plug (4).
Release screws (5) on bracket (6).
Release lock (1) and disconnect fuel line from preheating valve.
Note:
For purposes of clarity, this work step is shown on a
preheating valve that has been removed.
Lay fuel filter unit and fuel cooler together with bracket upwards.
Disconnect plug (1).
Pull out auxiliary water pump (2) and electric auxiliary heater (3)
completely with bracket (4) and place to one side.
Remove ribbed V-belt for A/C compressor,
refer to 11 28 050.
Remove ribbed V-belt for alternator,
refer to 11 28 010.
