3 Series E46 330xd (M57) TOUR
Pull profile seals (1) out of electronics box.
Installation:
To prevent leaks, you must install profile seals correctly.
Disconnect plug (1) on DDE control unit.
Installation:
Program DDE control unit,
refer to 12 14 705.
Disconnect plug connections in electronics box.
This work is described in the section "Removing wiring harness
section for engine",
refer to 12 51 001.
Lay engine wiring harness on engine.
Detach fuel hose (1) from T-piece (2).
Release nut on oil filter housing.
Detach grounding cable (3) from oil filter housing.
Release clamp (1).
Detach vacuum hose (2).
Detach water hoses (3).
Release nut (4) and detach positive lead of electric auxiliary
heater from starter motor.
Caution!
Oil emerges if the oil dipstick guide tube is removed.
