BMW Workshop Service and Repair Manuals

Release nut (1) on right engine support arm. 

Fit special tool 00 0 200 to special tool 00 0 201/202/204/208
and attach.

Note:

- Contact faces (1) of special tool 00 0 208 must rest on
screws of both side walls.

- Special tool 00 0 201 must be suspended in lowermost
locating bores of special tool 00 0 204.

Suspend chain (1) as short in length as possible from special tool
00 0 200.

Suspend chain (1) in lifting lug (2).

Raise engine until engine support arm (1) releases threaded
pin (2).
