3 Series E46 330xd (M57) TOUR
Release clamp and detach oil return hose on crankcase.
Release nut (1).
Lay grounding cable (2) to one side.
Release screws (3).
Remove right engine support arm (4).
Release screws (5).
Remove turbocharger (6) downwards.
Release screw on oil pressure line (1).
Tightening torque,
refer to Technical Data 11 65 7AZ.
Installation:
-
Replace seals.
-
Oil pressure line (1) must be installed parallel to
turbocharger housing.
Convert oil pressure line (1) to new turbocharger.
Installation:
-
Replace all gaskets.
-
Clean sealing faces on exhaust manifold.
