Removing and installing/replacing DSC yaw
sensor (4WD)
Important!
Read and comply with notes on protection against
electrostatic damage (ESD protection).
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove driver's seat.
•
Remove footwell side trim panel on A-pillar on left
Note:
After replacing the yaw sensor, carry out an adjustment of the
yaw sensor and the transversal acceleration sensor with DIS
(Diagnosis and Information System) under menu item
"Service functions".
The yaw sensor contains the function of the transversal
acceleration sensor.
Raise floor trim panel (1).
Move damping lining (2) approx. 8-10 cm forwards.
Remove cover (3).
Release screws (1).
Installation:
Ensure correct seating during installation.
Tightening torque, 34 51 4AZ .
Unlock plug connection (2) and detach.
Installation:
Ensure proper locking of plug connector.
