3 Series E46 M3 (S54) COUPE
Replacement only:
Release expanding pins (1) and detach mounting aids (2) from
bumper carrier (3).
Note:
Work scope "Replacing front bumper carrier" ends here.
Replacing front bumper trim:
Remove trim grille for bumper trim.
Remove holder for license plate.
Detach mucket (1).
Detach sheet metal nuts (2) on left/right.
Detach clip (3) for wiring harness.
Unlock plug connection (4) and detach from holder (5).
Unlock holder (5) and remove.
Lever out cover for towing eye and detach retaining strap from
bumper.
