Important!
On engines with automatic transmissions, there is shortly
before the special tool bore (1) for the TDC position a large
bore (2) which can be confused with the special tool bore.
If the flywheel is secured in the correct bore (1) with the special
tool 11 9 190 , the engine can no longer be moved at the
central bolt.
Mount special tool 11 9 280 on hub for vibration damper.
N42:
Important!
If the central bolt is tightened down to specified torque, the
special tool 11 9 190 must not be used for gripping when
the central bolt is released.
Pull special tool 11 9 190 back until flywheel is no longer
secured in position.
N46:
Important!
If the central bolt is tightened down to specified torque, the
special tool 11 5 120 must not be used for gripping when
the central bolt is released.
Pull special tool 11 5 120 back until flywheel is no longer
secured in position.
