Replacing Engine Wiring Harness for 3 Series E92 316i Coupe
Release nut and remove grounding cable (1)
Remove protective cap (1).
Slacken nut (1).
Disconnect positive lead (2) and place to one side.
Pull wiring harness (1) upward and remove from retaining bracket
(2) and electronics box (3).
