Replacing plug-in contact for intake air
temperature sensor (S65)
Special tools required:
•
00 9 310
•
61 4 321
•
61 4 328
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Switch off ignition
•
Follow instructions for disconnecting and connecting battery
•
Disconnect battery negative lead and cover
•
Remove intake air manifold
Carefully open locks on cable duct.
Carefully raise front upper section of cable duct approx. 10 cm
and secure, e.g. with assembly wedge kit 00 9 310
Unlock plug-in contacts for inlet VANOS, bank 1, and oil pressure
switch and release.
