more accurate method of measurement.

The following applies in both instances:

The oil level can be measured most accurately if the engine oil is checked or drained
5 - 10 minutes after the engine has been switched off after being driven "really hot".

0.3 l/1000 km is the borderline value.

This measure will not lead to any improvement in the engine oil consumption figure
should the vehicle use less than 0.3 l/1000 km.
