Replacing Valve Springs for 5 Series E34 525td (M51) Engine
Installation:
Oil the bucket tappets on the races and arrange them by
cylinder in the correct sequence.
Note:
Used bucket tappets must always be re-installed in same
tappet bore from which they were removed.
Caution!
Avoid damaging the races of these bucket tappets.
Install Special Tool 11 0 200 (protective foil).
Insert Special Tool 11 3 132 from below in Special
Tool 11 1 065 and secure with Special Tool 11 1 045.
Align Special Tool 11 0 194 in direction of valve shaft and
select appropriate groove in Special Tool 11 0 342.
