Installing and removing or replacing oil sump
(M51)
Remove both timing chains,
refer to 11 31 052
Lift out woodruff key.
Unfasten oil-pump screws and lift off oil pump together with
suction pipe.
Installation:
Clean sealing face and replace seal.
Installation:
Install oil pump and use special tools 11 4 201 and
11 4 202 to center pump in relation to crankshaft. Screw
special tool 11 4 203 firmly down, then install screws for oil
pump and tighten down.
