5 Series E34 525td (M51) TOUR
If necessary, dismantle oil pump and reassemble.
Unscrew intake fitting.
Caution!
Intake fitting is secured with self-tapping screws.
For this reason, there is no thread on new pump housings.
Thread can be shaped using existing screws.
Installation:
Replace seal.
The side coated with sealing compound faces towards intake
fitting.
Press out bush.
Installation:
Collar on bush faces towards crankcase.
Unfasten screws and lift off cover.
