E36:
Lift off relay box lid. Remove fuel pump relay (2).
Subsequent procedure, refer to inspection procedure for all
models:
E38:
Remove right side trim panel in trunk.
Pull off fuel pump relay (2).
E39:
Remove right side trim panel in trunk.
Pull off fuel pump relay (2).
E38, E39:
Connect special tool 61 3 050 to terminal 87 and terminal 30.
Switch on ignition.
