Replacing electrical fuel cutoff unit (M51)
Interrogate fault memory. Switch off ignition.
The diesel engine is switched off by interrupting the flow of
fuel.
Checking fuel cutoff unit, refer to 13 51 300
Description of operation:

Intake bore
2.
Distributor piston
3.
Distributor head
4.
Traction solenoid
5.
High pressure chamber
Location:
Under intake manifold (2) on the fuel injection pump.
Remove dust cap (1).
