Replacing temperature sensor for coolant
(M51, M41)
Interrogate fault memory of DDE control unit. Switch off
ignition.
M41:
Removing intake air manifold,
refer to 11 61 050
M 51:
Removing intake air manifold,
refer to 11 61 050
Disconnect plug-in connection.
Remove temperature sensor.
Tightening torque, refer to Technical Data 13 62 6AZ
Installation:
Interrogate fault memory of DDE control unit, check faults in
memory, rectify faults and then clear the fault memory.
